Maysah – Terms and Conditions (Summary)
Note: We refer to the full Dutch Terms & Conditions, which can be found by visiting maysah.nl and selecting the Dutch language on the website.
- Definitions
- Consumer: Natural person not acting for business purposes.
- Entrepreneur: Maysah, offering products, digital content, and/or services remotely.
- Distance Agreement: Contract between consumer and entrepreneur using remote communication techniques.
- Right of Withdrawal: Consumer’s right to cancel an order within the cooling-off period.

- These terms apply to all offers and agreements between Maysah and the consumer.
- Consumers are informed about terms before completing a purchase.
- Product descriptions and images are accurate, but minor errors do not bind Maysah.
- Any conditions or limited validity will be clearly mentioned.
- Agreement is formed when the consumer accepts the offer and meets the conditions.
- Electronic agreements are secured; payment options are safe.
- Maysah may refuse an order if reasonable doubts exist about payment or compliance.
- Consumers have 14 days to cancel physical products, starting the day after receipt.
- Services or digital content not on physical media: 14 days from contract date.
- If Maysah fails to provide legally required information about withdrawal, this period may extend up to 12 months + 14 days after receiving the information.
- Handle products carefully, only as necessary to check their nature and function.
- Original packaging must be included; items must not be washed or smell of food or sweat.
- Consumer is responsible for value reduction caused by improper use.
- Notify Maysah via email or contact form.
- Return products within 14 days of notification.
- Consumer pays return shipping, unless Maysah offers to cover it.
- Certain partial services or digital content may incur proportional costs if the consumer agreed to immediate execution.
- Maysah will confirm receipt of withdrawal.
- Refunds (including delivery costs) will be made within 14 days.
- Refunds use the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
- Custom-made products, perishable goods, sealed hygiene products, and digital content already fully executed with consumer consent are non-returnable.
- Prices include VAT.
- Variable prices may apply for market-dependent products.
- Price increases allowed only by law or if agreed with the consumer.
- Maysah guarantees products and services meet agreements, quality, and legal requirements.
- Extra guarantees do not limit statutory rights.
- Orders are processed within 30 days unless agreed otherwise.
- Risk of damage/loss remains with Maysah until delivery to the consumer.
- Consumer may cancel ongoing agreements anytime with max 1 month notice.
- Agreements cannot be silently extended for fixed periods without consumer consent.
- Payments due within 14 days of order or start of cooling-off period.
- Advance payments limited to 50% of total order.
- Late payments may incur interest and reasonable collection costs.
- Submit complaints via email or website form.
- Complaints answered within 14 days.
- If unresolved after 3 months, the dispute can be escalated.
- Dutch law applies.
- Disputes can be submitted to the Webshop Disputes Committee (Geschillencommissie).
- The Webshop Keurmerk guarantees compliance with binding advice from the Disputes Committee, up to €10,000 per case.
- Deviations from these terms must not disadvantage the consumer and must be in writing.
- Changes in terms are made in consultation with the Dutch Consumers’ Association; the most favorable provision for the consumer applies.
